TOOLBOX
The tools I use every day as an indie dev — all open source, accessible, or just plain lovely.
OpenCode
One of the best AI agents for my daily workflow. As a game developer and professional web app programmer, I use it constantly. I rely heavily on the DeepSeek v4 Lite model — unlimited usage, never run out of tokens. That said, you really need to know what you're doing so the AI doesn't make a mess.
Antigravity
Some might ask: if I already use an AI agent, why use another AI-powered editor? The truth is I just love its interface. I enjoy it, I've grown accustomed to it, and I don't like Visual Studio Code's look as much anymore.
Krita
One of the best programs out there. I use it for pixel art instead of more specialized software like Aseprite. I genuinely love Krita, and it's free (hehe, I'm broke).
FL Studio Mobile
The joke about being broke is no lie: I couldn't afford the full FL Studio version, so I bought the Mobile version. It was on sale and only cost me 150 Mexican pesos. It's excellent for making music.
Itch.io
Hehe, it's honestly super empty right now, but I promise it'll be full of fun games very soon.
Godot
By now you've probably figured out I'm a huge open source fan. And yes, for me open source will always be better than using software from a company that would sell its own mother just to make money.
